“As a Guatemalan painter, my intention as an artist is to share my art with other people from different countries and at the same time to make known the culture of my own country through the artistic work that I do.”
Alfredo Molina is a Guatemalan painter. He studied at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas and in the workshop of Plásticas arts popular at the university, both located in the capital of Guatemala. Alfredo also studied at the Alfredo Gálvez Suárez regional plásticas arts school in Coban Alta Verapaz, Guatemala. He has held personal exhibitions in the communal municipal auditorium in Cobanera, collective exhibitions in several galleries of Antigua Guatemala and Capital City and he has received many accolades and awards for his work, including prizes for 2nd place, comité departamental Pro-Celebración of the idependence of Central america, first place, drawing contest poster of the World Food Day FAO and first place, contest drawing and painting at the first festival of the verapacense culture.
